Plan on coming to Salem, Oregon, in the beautiful Willamette Valley to participate in a joint offering of two major spring time heritage events -- the Northwest Archivists annual meeting and the Oregon Heritage Conference April 26 - 28, 2012.

Take advantage of this opportunity to share information about your products and services with an expected audience of 250. Attendees will include community leaders, staff and volunteers from archives records repositories, historical societies, museums, historic cemetaries, ethnic organizations, schools, historic preservation commissions, humanities groups, Main Street programs, the tourism industry, economic development, history buffs and professional historians, your, and local, tribal, state and federal governments.

Exhibit Dates: Thursday, April 26 and/or Friday, April 27, 2012; 8:00 - 5:00

Accommodations: Exhibitors are encouraged to arrange for their accommodations at the Grand Hotel in Salem which is adjacent to the Salem Conference Center. Exhibitor Fees: $50.00 per day per table. Rate applies to all exhibitors. Each representative attending the conference must register separately for the conference. If exhibiting both Thursday and Friday then register at the Regular Conference rate ($164.30). If exhibiting one day only then register for either the Thursday or Friday rate ($102.80). See Registration section below for what is included in the conference registration.


Exhibitor fees include*:

  • Exhibit space: 8 ft. table with linen and skirting, wastebasket, and chairs.
  • Internet: 256k wireless internet and access to electricity if requested. Please note that the exhibit area is in a public space and that equipment and materials of value should be secured when not attended.
  • Attendees: A list of all Meeting attendees and their organizations will be provided.
  • Advertising: Listing on exhibitor page in conference program.
  • Storage/Shipping: Exhibitor is responsible for all shipping, handling and payment arrangements for any items to be shipped to the Salem Conference Center (SCC).
    • All items must be addressed to the attention of the "Salem Conference Center Banquet Department" and must clearly identify the name of the Exhibitor's contact, organization name, and the date of the event.
    • SCC will neither receive nor store any items more than 72 hours in advance of your event. Exhibitor must give SCC prior notification of all incoming deliveries.
    • SCC will charge Exhibitors $25.00 per hour, with a four-hour minimum for handling ten or more items.
    • All unlabelled and unclaimed items will be discarded seven days following completion of the conference. Materials may be shipped to the hotel in advance but should not arrive more than 3 days before your exhibit date.
  • *Registration: Conference registration is not included in the price of the exhibit space. Each representative must register individually for either the Regular Conference rate (Thursday and Friday exhibition) or for either Thursday or Friday rate depending on the days you are exhibiting.
  • Regular Conference registration rate includes ($164.30):
    • Any of the Thursday workshops and the evening reception at the Oregon State Archives (hors d'oeuvres and one drink ticket included)
    • Friday sessions, morning and afternoon breaks, lunch, OHC and NWA Award Ceremony dinner at Willamette Heritage Center
    • Saturday sessions and continental breakfast
  • Thursday only registration rate includes ($102.80)
    • Any of the Thursday workshops and the evening reception at the Oregon State Archives (hors d'oeuvres and one drink ticket included)
  • Friday only registration rate includes ($102.80):
    • Friday sessions, morning and afternoon breaks, lunch, OHC and NWA Award Ceremony dinner at the Willamette Heritage Center

  • Program Advertisements: A one page black & white ad in the conference program may be purchased for $150.00 and $100.00 for a half-page.
    • Please submit ad in pdf format no later than April 5th to Kyle Jansson (Kyle.Jansson@state.or.us) and Kuri Gill (kuri.gill@state.or.us). The program will be standard 8 1/2" x 11" in size.
    • NOTE: You do not have to attend the conference to purchase an advertisement.
  • Sponsorships: If you would like to provide additional conference support, the following sponsorship opportunities are available. Sponsorships provide an additional opportunity to network, mingle and provide information to an interested audience.

  • Acknowledgement of Sponsor will be featured prominently on the food and beverage tables and will be listed in the final program.
