Conference Pop-up Sessions
At the CIMA/NWA conference in Boise we will host 3 or 4 pop-up sessions. Pop-up sessions offer an opportunity for archivists to gather into groups and engage in informal discussion on a given topic. Our online survey is available now for participants to suggest a specific topic or two. The survey prompts you to share ideas about possible pop-up sessions in areas, such as Advocacy and Outreach, Handling Born-Digital Materials, Copyright, Archives Leadership, Engaging Underrepresented Communities, METS, MODS, and PREMIS, Project Management, and Social Media.
The Pop-up Session Survey
Please fill out the survey to help us determine which topics will be offered this year - https://goo.gl/forms/P9OeZxksYFVI1Llc2,. The survey also provides space to indicate if you would like to be a moderator for one of the sessions. Learn what involved in being a moderator here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Ti8oQPj8pg6adgXLveCOmmWFxUTPdMCc1E8daVzD5fs/edit?usp=sharing. Pop-up session coordinators Jim Kichas (CIMA) and Mariecris Gatlabayan (NWA) will provide all moderators with guidelines prior to the meeting once they have been selected.
