I was just looking for this info for some time. After six hours of cuuoinotns Googleing, at last I got it in your web site. I wonder what's the lack of Google strategy that don't rank this kind of informative websites in top of the list. Generally the top web sites are full of garbage.

I have to tell you I feel similar about most manga in the oraginil language. Reading a novel back to front in Japanese isn't a cakewalk for me, but it's easy compared to almost all the manga I've tried. I think that part of it is I don't really know where to go next with my eyes when there is competing text/dialogue, but mostly it's that I do not enjoy the aesthetic of those giant eyes. This made me shy away from graphic novels until this year, which is unfortunate- then for your challenge I read Emiko Superstar and that pretty much convinced me that I could find graphic novels that suited me if I looked (and that particular one suited me!).One manga I really did like was GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka. I haven't read the English version but I know there is one.

Thank you for reminding us to enter. We rlelay don't deserve you! These are my choices:1. From Goose Lane Editions - The Town That Drowned by Riel Nason because I just watched a tv interview with her and it sounds great. She's won one award for it and is in the running for The Commonwealth Book Prize. And it's practically set in my backyard.2. From Thistledown Press - The Edge of the Sea, because I'm can't resist books about the sea and it's set on Prince Edward Island which again is in my neck of the woods. 3. Vehicule Press - No Ordinary Hotelby Adrian Walter because it's about the history of The Ritz Carlton in Montreal. I love Montreal, I love hotels and I love history. This is kind of the perfect book. Thanks, Dianne (Ordinary Reader)
